The Qira'atul Quran Competition (QQC) is an annual competition hosted by McMaster MSA. MashAllah, now running in it’s twelfth year, the competition brings together our brothers and sisters from various universities and junior schools for the common purpose of glorifying the words of Allah (swt) in the Holy Quran. This year the Brothers Senior and Juniors competition will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Sisters competition will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at McMaster University. Please see the Sisters QQC section for more information.
The Brothers Seniors and Juniors Registration will begin at 11:30 am and the competition will begin at 1:00 pm inshAllah. The competition for the Brothers Senior category will be in the bracket style format and the top prize is $1 500.00 for the winning team's MSA.
This year the judges have stepped up the challenge and the competition is TOUGH! Who will make it through? Who will take home the grand prize? With interactive sessions for the audience, QQC is bringing it like never before. Come out on March 6, 2010 and be there to witness it all! |
